In the 1800s Ireland was struck with the potato famon and over one million people dided. Many of the Irish still crave for the rest of Ireland back from the U.K.

Many plantation owners that run on fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas are replacing old plants with renuable power souces. The effort is heightining for other contenents to give their part of the fuel to Eourpe. Russia and the middle east give 50% of energy, and a recent projection shows that porportions incresing to 70%by 2025.

On 16 of November in 2005 the E.U. and Afghanistan adopted a giant Declaration setting out a new partnership. This joined Declaration outline increased co-operation, based on Afghan ownership, across a range of areas. It also establishes a regular political dialogue, with annual meeting at Ministerial level and reaffirms the EU`s long term commitment to Affghanistan. The Eouropian Council tries to maintain a comprehensiveapproch to the chalenges it faces in Affghanistan. A internatioal confrence is to be held in London on January 28 of 2010.

Ireland joined the E.U. in 1973. In 1950 a French leader named Robert Schumar made a famous spech to tell people to work together to solve problems and fullfil their goal. Which lead to the making of the E.U. The E.U. countries created the comon market which was the start of the E.U. The comon market and the E.U. try to take away trade blocks and create a very helthy comunity. With all the countries united in the E.U. they have made a simalar united nation to our United States.
